Founded in 2015, Katharina Maria Raab Gallery represents both emerging and established international artists whose work contribute to a discourse on current social and cultural issues. The focus of the gallery’s program is to encourage dialogue and exchange between artists from Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Exhibitions include Beyond the Exhibit I. Contextualizing Emerging Iranian Artists; a response to the lack of an institutional system for contemporary art in Iran, this exhibition introduces young Iranian artists born after the Islamic Revolution of 1978/1979. Beyond the Exhibit is planned as a continuous series of exhibition projects in various locations in Germany and abroad.
